Philip K. Dick

Philip K. Dick was a phenomenal science fiction writer who wrote 44 novels and about 121 short stories. Dick inspired others to imagine the future. He pushed people to see what humans could create and all the possibilities out there waiting to be developed. Dick showed there were no limits to what could be imagined. In the 1950s and 60s people were not thinking about such things like emotional robots and flying cars. Philip K. Dick had such an impact on science fiction literature and movies because he was the first to truly push what humans thought was possible. In any science fiction movie created there is alway signs of Philip K. Dick within them. Dick wrote a book called "Eye in the Sky." This book is about how like is a stimulation. Series like the Matrix and Black Mirror have used this idea and created blockbuster entertainment. Philip K. Dick was always making people question what they believed and paved the way for others to do so. Dick created so many different possibilities for different realities. He made people doubt what was really possible and what else could be created. Without Dick's imagination the world of science fiction would not have the ideas for movies they have now. There would be no questioning of our realities and no possibility of emotional robots. Philip K. Dick inspired others to truly question what they know to be real.
